Sarah on the Homosexual Question

Our inspiration, Sarah Palin, is a woman shaped by God's Word. As noted in this September 2008 AP article, Palin's church is actively promoting Focus on the Family's "Love Won Out" conference, a "pray-away-the-gay" event:

ANCHORAGE — Gov. Sarah Palin’s church is promoting a conference that promises to convert gays into heterosexuals through the power of prayer.

“You’ll be encouraged by the power of God’s love and His desire to transform the lives of those impacted by homosexuality,” according to the insert in the bulletin of the Wasilla Bible Church, where Palin has worshipped for about six years.

Palin’s conservative Christian views have energized that part of the GOP electorate, which was lukewarm to John McCain’s candidacy before he named her as his vice presidential choice. She is staunchly anti-abortion, even in cases of rape and incest, and opposes gay marriage and spousal rights for gay couples.

Focus on the Family, a national Christian fundamentalist organization, is conducting the “Love Won Out” Conference in Anchorage, about 30 miles from Wasilla.

Palin, campaigning with McCain in the Midwest on Friday, has not publicly expressed a view on the so-called “pray away the gay” movement.

Governor Palin hasn't taken a position on whether we should pray for "gay" people, or just stone them. However, as the article notes, she certainly doesn't think we should be "marrying" them off or otherwise encouraging their unhygienic, depraved, and God-hating practices!

Do you believe that "gay" people should be prayed over and saved, or abandoned to their lust-driven ways and allowed to spend eternity in Hell?

We, the Paliban, know that God demands that we stone homosexuals to death. Let's review:

Leviticus 20:13 (KJV)

If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

However, He also directs us to obey secular law, so all we can do right now is pray for them to come to Jesus, through highly effective programs like Baptists are Saving Homosexuals or conferences such as that hosted by Focus on the Family.

Under God's Law, which we hope Sarah Palin will work to enact as President, Focus on the Family will simply issue buckets of fist-sized stones at conferences!

Some will claim that all Old Testament Law, God's Law, was abolished by Jesus. Jesus, of course, is God. See the problem with that theory?
